Collection: The Phoenician Object

The Venustas chair celebrates Eastern Mediterranean identity through the arch. The term Venustas, is used to describe architecture that has qualities possessed by the goddess Venus; the arch presents balance and grace. Further to its beauty, an arch derives its strength from its shape, emphasised through the cantilever of one leg from the central frame.
